Sucrose esters are fatty esters of sucrose, obtained via transesterfication of methyl esters with sucrose. The outstanding properties of of sucrose esters are of interest for the cosmetic, pharamceutical and food industries because they exceed widely the simple surfactant action. The food industry appreciates particularly the tasteless and odourless sucrose esters for their emulsifying, lubricating, wetting, dispersing and texturizing properties. Stearinerie Dubois produces sucrose ester with an HLB ( Hydrophile Lipophile Balance) range from 3 to 16. Sucrose esters are natural products and approved as food additives E473.

Andreas Schockhoven was born in Cologne in 1967. Already during his economic studies at the University of Cologne he gained experience in various sectors of the industry in well known companies, at home and abroad. After finishing his studies in 1993, Andreas worked as a project and marketing administrator for the company Firmenich Deutschland and subsequently for two years as Marketing Assistant for the Business Unit Beverages Europe in the divisional headquarters in Geneve.
On returning to Germany he worked as a Marketing and Business Development Manager where he was responsible for Germany, Benelux and Northern Europe.
In this function Andreas built up the local marketing and sensoric activities. In July 2003, Firmenich assigned the commission management of the Aroma department to him as commercial Director Flavours, at first for Germany, Scandinavia and Benelux, later in Vienna for Austria, central and Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Klaus Olschewski was born in Sensburg in 1960. He is married and has two children. He began his career with his commercial traineeship in 1979 at the company Henkel in Duesseldorf. After working for three years at the company Weinstock and Siebert where he was responsible for the sales of special chemicals, he returned to Henkel KGAA.
He worked there from 1985 to 1990 where he was responsible for the sales and Marketing of chemical base substances in Germany as well as building up a national distribution network.
A further stage was his 2 years at the company Kao corporation where he was responsible for the sales of aroma chemicals in Europe.
In 1992 he changed to Firmenich Germany in Kerpen where he worked as Key Account Manager until the founding of Innotaste GmbH on the 01.01.05.

Peter Felber was born in Luzern in Switzerland in 1961.
He began his career from 1987 to 1991 in the food branch as Area Manager at Givaudan, the biggest global aroma producer. He was responsible for Southern and Eastern Europe.
After the political opening of the Eastern Europe Peter changed to Nutrasweet where he was responsible for building up the business as well as establishing and leading the extensive network of distributors in Eastern Europe even to beyond the Ural. Besides the key account Management, extensive PR activities with authorities and health organisations, he realised the “Branded Ingredient Strategy” for producers and end consumers in many Eastern European countries.
From 2000 to 2004 Peter operated the markets for Nutrasweet in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as Marketing and Sales Director.

Udo Eikenberg was born in Sievershausen in 1961. He began his career in 1987 at Haarmann & Reimer GmbH where he did a cooperative traineeship as an industrial salesman while studying economics at the same time. After successfully achieving his economics diploma he was employed by the same company as Account Manager Flavours. His customer clientele from Germany and Switzerland included in the main producers from ready meals, meat products, soups, sauces and delicatessen products.
In 1996 he decided to change to Firmenich GmbH in Kerpen where he worked as Senior Account Manager Flavours until 31.12.2004. He was responsible for national and international customers in the Segment Savoury Food.

Christian Lüllau was born in 1977 in Mülheim an der Ruhr. After doing his high school diploma he completed the community service and started to study Economics at the University of Duisburg . In 2002 he began a traineeship as a wholesaler at the Trading Company Schafstall Handelsgesellschaft in Mülheim. After finishing his traineeship successfully in 2004 Christian worked there on the commercial side while studying Business Administration at the same time. In August 2005 he achieved his diploma. Since December 2005 Christian is working at innotaste as Project Manager.

Isabella Muschalik was born in Malapane (Upper Silesian) in 1980.
After doing her A-levels she did a traineeship as an export sales assistant at the company C. H. Erbslöh KG in Krefeld, where she worked after finishing her traineeship successfully in 2003.
She worked there in the quality control department until December 2004. Isabella has worked for Innotaste as a sales assistant since January 2005.

Sylvie Kuska was born in 1976 in Leverkusen. Already during her studies (food science) at the University of Bonn she gained some industrial experience in the quality assurance at the Bayer AG. After the studies Sylvie started her career at Teekanne in Düsseldorf. For the next 3 years she worked in the Product Development of flavoured and unflavoured teas and infusions before she moved into the Teekanne Quality Assurance in 2005. Since 01.10.2005 Sylvie is working at innotaste as the Technical Service Manager.
